How are tutors selected?

 Tutors are selected on their academic background, skill, experience and specific personal attributes.  Tutors are then required to partake in a face-to-face interview and they are required to undertake an examination in the subject in which they propose to tutor.

All tutors are screened and police records are checked.

What can students expect for each tuition session?

 The focus of tuition sessions will vary depending on the level and ability of the student, the nature of work, and the level of preparation required for exams and other forms of assessment.  Typical tuition sessions for Year 10 through to HSC are based on the relevant course syllabus, revision tests, practice examinations and exam tips and techniques and helpful study sessions in order that students can improve and excel in their chosen subjects.  For years 1 through to year 9 typical tuition sessions involve assisting students with homework, learning to read, teaching core skills to assist students to meet the relevant syllabus requirements, teaching students various study techniques and motivating students to learn and achieve.
